Areas of Focus

Irving Community Television Network (ICTN) recently completed a massive studio lighting overhaul with a new ARRI Lighting Fixture Package and Electronic Theater Control System. The City of Irving entrusted Digitial Resources to design a system to meet their daily studio needs and the expectations of the growing community of the City of Irving. ICTN is a city-organized television studio with multiple shows and live broadcasts. Digital Resources specified ARRI lighting using an assortment of L7-C / S30-C / S60-C / S120-C using ARRI’s High CRI and excellent color rendition over the entire range made for an obvious choice for the City of Irving. The City of Irving also faced the issue that its electrical & dimming systems were installed in the early 1980s and would not be adequate for the lighting expansion. Digital Resources Inc worked on a complete overhaul of the electrical system in partnership with Petri Electric. The design incorporated a new sACN network, a Power Distribution system with all new Custom Connector Strips, and a new Sensor IQ Panel. Irving Community Television Network (ICTN) went live after only 3 weeks of construction and deployment of the new lighting and control systems.
