Greenville Municipal Auditorium

Greenville Municipal Auditorium Lighting & Systems Upgrade

Project Recap by Digital Resources Inc.

Digital Resources Inc. completed a comprehensive performance systems upgrade for the historic Greenville Municipal Auditorium, a landmark venue originally built in 1939. This project focused on modernizing the auditorium’s theatrical lighting and performance infrastructure while preserving the character and functionality of the existing space.

Working within an older facility presents unique challenges, including unforeseen structural and infrastructure conditions. The Digital Resources Inc. team collaborated closely with project stakeholders to identify and overcome these challenges while maintaining the project schedule and performance goals.

The upgraded systems provide enhanced flexibility, reliability, and control for a wide range of events, including live performances, concerts, theatrical productions, and community programming. The video highlights the transformation of the auditorium, showcasing improved stage lighting, updated system integration, and a more versatile performance environment designed to support both technical staff and performers.

From design and engineering through installation and commissioning, Digital Resources Inc. delivered a solution focused on long-term value, operational efficiency, and future scalability. The result is a modernized municipal auditorium that honors its historic roots while meeting the expectations of today’s live production standards.

We want to say thanks to DRI for all the work they did on this project. Overcoming those unexpected things when you work in an old facility like ours that was built in 1939, and then the end result is, if you haven’t been to the facility yet, you just need to come and see. You’re going to be blown away by what’s happening
